My Chunk Update

As of this morning when I weighed myself, I am offically down 23 lbs!!!!!! YEAH!!! But now nothing fits me anymore. I have been going thru my closet getting rid of some stuff that doesn't fit me anymore. I am trying not to go buy a bunch of new things because I plan on losing more. So I am hoping to just make due with what I got. I actually found some cute stuff at Goodwill that I didn't pay much for!!!

I am trying to scrapbook this weekend for an online crop with Personal Scrapper. I have done 3 layouts last night but I am not happy with 2 of them. :( I have lost my scrap mojo!!! I want to do more tonight, so we will see if I get it back. Trey said that he was going to buy me my wide format scanner!!! I am going to get a Mustek ScanExpress A3 USB. We are just saving up a little money to buy it. It is going to be my LATE mother's day/anniversary present.

Last Day of School

Today was Nevaeh's last day of preschool till September. I was party mom today. I had no idea what to do, so I decided to make pipe cleaner butterflies. Here are some pictures from today. Nevaeh is so going to miss school and is going to drive me crazy with her "What are we going to do today Mommy?"

Happy Mother's Day to all!! Trey made me breakfast and is going to make me dinner tonight. He also cleaned for me today. I had to grocery shop and do laundry though. He doesn't do those chores!!! It is also our 7th wedding anniversary today!! Time sure does fly!

Friday Five

Here my friday five pictures. I only had Kameron, Nevaeh and Hunter to pose for me because Kyan was napping. Kameron didn't last much longer after, he needed a nap too!! Kameron is the little boy that I watch during the day. Isn't he a cutie!! I love the one where he is looking at the pink stuffed dog!!

I really, really need a new scanner. Preferably a large format one that can scan my 12 x 12 scrapbook pages. Anyone know of a really good one that is inexpensive???

I did only 3 layouts this weekend. :( But I did go to AC Moore's Midnight Madness sale. I got some Heidi Swapp stuff that I am loving!!! I am inching closer to finally doing the scrapbook page about my son's Hemophilia. I actually have a picture of the nurse doing the heel stick that lead to his diagnosis. I have been putting this off for a long time but finally feel like I have the words that I want to say on the layout. I am still nervous about it and it will probably make me cry!!

Thoughts

Recently I have been inspired by others to write about my thoughts and fears of my son's diagnosis of hemophilia. I have always wanted to write about it but never felt like I was in that place to write anything good about it, just the negatives. So here it goes.

I feel truely blessed to have a son with hemophilia. I can't imagine life without him or without hemophilia. Of course I always didn't feel that way.

Update on my Chunk

It seems like forever since I blogged. I am still working out pretty much everyday. I have lost another 3 lbs and 4% body fat!! But I still want to lose more!!! Trey started working out with me and lost 10 lbs in his first week. I wanted to smack him! NOT FAIR!!

I started watching a baby during the day. He is 3 months old. He is a really good baby and truely very easy to keep.

Kyan went for his 18 month well baby, even though he is technically 20 months. He is 35 lbs!!!! OMG! Nevaeh is approaching the end of her first year of preschool. Just a few more weeks left. She is going to go crazy this summer with no school. Hope everyone is doing well. More later.

Goal Met!!

Well I had my weigh in today with Carmen my personal trainer. And I lost 7 lbs!!! Which means I met my goal of 5 lbs and past it!!! So the next goal is 4-5 lbs in two weeks. So cheer me on!!! I need all the encouragement I can get.

I am not feeling very good today, but wanted to post Happy Easter to everyone!!

I got a lot of scrapbooking done this weekend. I think the final count was 5 LOs. I will try to post some here.

Other than that, my yard is at the moment being torn up to have our sprinkler system installed. WOW! I didn't know how much work there is in putting in a sprinkler system. I can't wait to see the final results.

OH!!! And other big news. Totally forgot to post this. Trey got promoted to E7!!! YEAH!!!!!

Boring Boring

We not much going on here. Trey is gone, so its just me and the kids. I found some cute clothes in a yard sale today for Kyan. I also went to work out at the gym. My personal trainer Carmen wants me to lose 5 pounds by Monday the 9th. I have been working hard but don't feel like anything is coming off. UGH!!! I really want to go work out tomorrow but the daycare isn't open and I don't have anyone to watch the kids. So if it doesn't rain, I guess I will walk w/ the double stroller.

I am going to participate in a online scrapbook crop with Personal Scrapper. I hope to get a lot accomplished. I will try to post some of my finished pages.

Long Time

Gosh it has been a long time since my last blog. I have been busy with my two new activities. Working out at the gym and selling stuff on Ebay. Since I have an additive personality (lol!), those are my two favorite new things. Of course if you ask me tomorrow after my first meeting with my personal trainer, I might change my mind about the working out being one of my favorites!! I joined the gym about a month ago and finally decided to get the extra help of a personal trainer. It's expensive but hopefully worth it. I have a bunch of weight to loose and need all the help I can get. Pilates is also a new favorite of mine. I had never taken a class before and didn't know much about it. I love it!!!! So if you have never taken a pilates class, I recommend that you do!!!

I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I infused Kyan for the first time by myself!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!! And I didn't screw it up. Of course this wasn't the face he was making while I did it. It was more like screaming and tears streaming down his face. This picture just represents my feelings after it was over. LOL!!!

Update

Kyan had his port surgery. It went really well. In fact the insision is already healed up. Yesterday I tried to stick the needle in his port for the first time. "Tried" being the key word. I didn't anticipate that it was going to be that hard to push thru. So I freaked out and passed the needle off to the nurse that was helping me. She explained that not only does the needle need to pass thru the skin, it also needs to pass thru the rubber of the port. I didn't realize that, so sticking a needle in a port is going to be a lot different then just sticking it thru skin. Plus it isn't a regular needle, its a huber needle (its angled). Hopefully next time I won't freak out and be able to do it. We are having home infusion nurse start coming to the house twice a week to help me. Which hopefully will work out wonderfully, so that I don't have to make that trip to Palmetto Richland anymore. Not that I don't just love the nurses at the Blood Disorder Clinic. I have bonded with them so well of the last couple of months. It will be strange not seeing or talking to them as much as I did before. Well I better run. Kyan is awake from his nap and I am off to the post office. I will write more later.

Yuck!!

I was up all night with Nevaeh. She has the stomach flu. YUCK!!! Crossing my fingers that no one else gets it!
